The Chrome extension
You are looking at a Vinted listing and wondering how high to go. The extension asks resellflip without leaving the page: what the item resells for, and the price above which it stops being worth it for you.
What it does today
On a Vinted listing
A small resellflip panel opens at the bottom right of the listing, with an Analyser (analyse) button. On a listing, nothing is sent before you click it. The panel then shows:
- the estimated resale value, with its range and confidence level;
- the comparable sales the estimate rests on;
- your maximum buy price, worked out from your target margin and your resale profile;
- a verdict: the margin holds, it is tight, or it is too expensive.
You can switch profile in the panel without a new analysis: aggressive if you want to resell fast, so for less; patient if you accept keeping the item longer to sell it for more; balanced in between. Your target margin and default profile live in your resellflip account.
When there are too few comparable sales, the panel does not pretend to be sure: it gives a buy price range marked “à vérifier” (check this), never a green light. Each analysis uses one estimate from your quota, as in the app.
On a Vinted search results page
Each card gets a small badge: Marge OK (margin OK), Juste (tight), Trop cher (too expensive, with the maximum price to aim for) or ? when comparable sales are missing. The “?” shows no price: a single figure would fake a certainty we do not have. Badges do not count against your quota.
The panel and badges are in French for now, like the rest of the app.
It reads the page, and that is all
The extension is read-only. It reads the listing you opened yourself, and nothing else:
- it never clicks anything for you;
- it sends no request to Vinted on your behalf: no message, no offer, no favourite;
- it never buys and never posts anything;
- it does not change the page’s text: it adds its own panel and badges, kept apart.
To do its maths, it sends resellflip the visible details of the listing (or of the cards, on a results page), and only while you are logged in to your account. It only runs on the resale sites it supports, carries no tracker, and only measures your usage if you agree in its window, with the box unticked by default.
What is sent, and why, is set out in the privacy policy, extension section (in French).
Platforms
| Platform | Listing | Search results |

| Whatnot | Coming soon | — |
eBay and Whatnot come next. We are not giving a date: it depends on how good the analysis is on those sites, and we would rather announce it once it holds up.
The extension works in Chrome, on a computer. There is no phone version: Chrome does not accept extensions there.
Installing it
The extension is not on the Chrome Web Store yet. It needs a resellflip account: from its icon, you log in on resellflip.com, and the extension keeps its own session, which you can close from that same icon or from the app.
