The free tier is not a trial: it does not end. Stock, margins and turnover are unlimited on it. What gets counted is estimates — because each one costs a call to a model, and that cost is real.

Two things to know before you read further. Everything is priced and charged in euros — there is no dollar or pound price. And the app itself is still in French, tier names included: these pages were translated first because pages are cheap to translate, the product is not, and pretending otherwise would be the exact kind of overselling this site tries to avoid.
The free tier spreads its estimates over time rather than releasing them all at once: one every twelve hours. That is not a technical constraint, it is a choice — a monthly quota gets burned through in one evening and then forgotten, whereas one estimate per half-day fits an actual sourcing trip.

Without an account
A single estimate costs €0.69, payable by card, with no account and no subscription: estimate an item. The receipt goes out by email.
It is the most expensive route per use, and that is deliberate: from the 18th estimate in a month onwards, the subscription costs less. It exists for people who do not want an account, not to be the good deal.
There is no free anonymous estimate. The free tier goes through creating an account — with no card, and no time limit.
What the price covers
Every estimate triggers a call to a model and a search through the corpus of closed sales. It is the only line that varies with use, so it is the only one that gets counted. Stock, margins, turnover and exporting your data (JSON, CSV) cost nothing more as they grow: they are unlimited on every tier, the free one included. The accounting export and the tax summary belong to the Ultime tier.
Your data is not sold, on any tier — no identity, no email, no photos. The business model is the subscription, and there is no second one.
Why are estimates counted, and not your stock?
It is the question we get most often on this page, and the answer is in the cost structure. Stock, margins, turnover and data exports are arithmetic on your own data: they do not cost more because your stock grew. An estimate triggers a call to a model and a search through the corpus of closed sales, every single time. The cost is proportional to use, so use is what gets counted.
It is also why the fee calculators on this site are entirely free and need no account: they do arithmetic in your browser, and that costs nobody anything. The same boundary separates what is given away from what is counted. Beyond estimates, only listing writing and a few advanced features (bulk purchases, accounting export, tax summary) require a paid tier.

The honest advice is to start on the free tier and wait until you hit the limit. It is set to be reached by someone sourcing seriously, and not before: if you never touch it, a subscription would give you nothing.

- No VAT is charged: the publisher is a French micro-entreprise under the VAT exemption of article 293 B of the French tax code.
That last line is why no amount on this page is labelled “excluding VAT” or “including VAT”: the publisher falls under the French small-business VAT exemption, so VAT is neither charged nor reclaimable on these invoices. What that means for you where you live — whether you can put this subscription through your own books, and what you owe on it — is a question for your accountant, and we are not going to guess at it.
